What is an opt-in?

Opt-ins are a strategy where you give away something small to encourage someone to join or "opt-in" to your email list. This opt-in lives on your website where they submit their email and then go to a page or receive an email with whatever giveaway you have. Then you continually nurture that email list by sharing details about your community, whether that be a hot floor plan, benefits of your amenities or location, or your latest special.

Opt-ins can be a special or discount, but they don't have to be. Information is also a very valuable and coveted item that people want. Below you will find some opt-in ideas that you can utilize today!
