1. Garden Party

Spring is all about getting your hands dirty and growing your community. Instead of just hosting a one-off event, use this as an opportunity to create a new amenity that brings your residents together to reap the rewards.
Community gardens can be done at any budget in any climate. You can build a garden in one of your outdoor areas or you can park a cart like the one we have shown indoors or out. Either way you decide to do it, the key is to get residents involved so they can lead the charge.
Apartment Event Hack: Let residents elect a leader who will organize future meetings and communicate with the on-site team as needed. This way you have assistance on managing the garden that is inline with what residents want.
2. Peeps Bar
Peeps day is April 5th and this is your sign to have a Peeps bar at your community.

3. Let’s Pawty
National Pet Day is April 11th and April is ASPCA month. Host a yappy hour for all your furry residents with toys, treats, and you can even have an “adoption station” with stuffed animals or toys for all ages and breeds.

We love any excuse for a plant bar and Earth Day on April 22 happens to be the best excuse. Set up a sips and succulent bar with mini plants, grow kits, and a selection of refreshments.

It’s officially festival season in April and we love this event for any age, but specifically student housing.
